Select your starting location and click one of the twelve logos to see a map of the reserve you want to play in. Clicking on the house or lodge icon will show you the available species in that area. You also get to choose the time you want to start as The Hunter Classic adds in a day and night cycle feature. After you picked your preferred location, you will be brought there as you click on the Start button. Make your way into your hunting area and get captivated by the vastness of the grounds along with background sounds like twigs breaking as you step on them, birds cooing around you, and many more. Learn to read the GPS device as this will help you with a lot since The Hunter Classic depends on tracking for you to find your prey. You need to check animal footprints, paths, and many more to lead you to their location.

Controlling your character is easy as it uses the setup of most shooting games and if you are already familiar with them, then you won’t have a hard time playing The Hunter Classic. Choose over various weapons from bows to rifles and equip them based on your situation. Switching between them and your binoculars, camera, collar, GPS, and other equipment are easy to learn and get accustomed to.
